Anteros
It was annoying that he fell for me at Kelso last time, as were going well and in with every chance, though of course there was still a fair way to go. We know that he goes really well here from his hurdling efforts, and will love the ground, and he is fairly handicapped on his Hereford win back in October. Coming off the pace in a well-run race is what he likes, and I can see him figuring here off his low weight, especially as this has cut up a bit at the overnight stage, too.

Mister Whitaker
This is a horse I have always loved and I am delighted to be back on board him. He has gone up a long way in the weights since winning the Close Brothers here at the Festival in 2018 but he probably deserves his mark after his Carlisle win, and he rounded off last season with a win here in April in first-time cheek pieces, which are left on here. He went up another 4lb for that victory, but he has a lot of class, loves this place and he goes well when fresh, too. You have to give him every chance in what is obviously a very competitive race.
