KEMPTON – SATURDAY

3.35pm

Azzerti

You have to say that his last three runs have been disappointing, even if he ran okay at Ascot in December, but at least he has come down 4lb in the weights for those efforts and hopefully the first-time cheek pieces can spark him back to life. He is certainly on a good weight if they do, as he is back on the same mark as when winning at Newbury on his return, and he would like it if the ground doesn’t ride too testing given the 3m trip. I schooled him on Thursday and he is in good shape.

4.45pm

Bold Vision

I don’t know anything about him at the moment but his pedigree looks promising, being by Shirocco out of a mare who proved a very smart sort for the stable, winning her bumper and then developing into a very decent Listed race-winning hurdler.

WOLVERHAMPTON – SUNDAY

2.30pm

Sunny Express

He ran below expectations over hurdles at Ayr last time, so this jumpers’ bumper is a good opportunity for him to get his form back. He ran very well when placed in his bumper at Ayr last season.
