Enemy Coast Ahead

I wasn’t on board when he won his bumper but he was clearly very impressive when winning by 10 lengths at Stratford back in March, and that form has worked out pretty well too, with a couple of winners coming out of the race. He clearly looks a fair prospect – that bumper form looks smart – but this looks a very competitive maiden hurdle, so we are looking for a good solid run on his first start back, first and foremost.  I schooled him last week though, and I was very happy with him.

I K Brunel

I K Brunel is co-owned by Prodec Networks, who are sponsoring the card, so hopefully he can put up a bold show for them here. He clearly disappointed us a little at Cheltenham last time, and perhaps his earlier win at Fontwell took more out of him than we thought. But that Fontwell win, and his third at Cheltenham last season, showed what a promising horse he is and let’s hope he can return to that level of form after a short break. It clearly won’t be easy with the likes of The Big Breakaway, and a few other decent sorts, in opposition and we carry a 6lb penalty, too. He is horse we like a lot, though.
