Immortal (Freddie Gordon)

He is the most gorgeous looking horse, with such a lovely demeanour, and I am quite excited about him going forward. We’ve tinkered with his wind over the summer, and his work has been very good, although the trip is a slight question mark, but I’d like to think he’ll handle the ground and I’m very hopeful he’ll go close. He has a future for sure.

Jango Baie (Nico De Boinville)

He was second in an Irish Point to Point, which I think has already produced a couple of winners, and he’s a horse we like a lot. We’ll obviously know a lot more about him after this, but he’s quite a sharp horse so the ground is a little bit of a concern. He’s been showing plenty in his work and this is a good starting point.

Luccia (James Bowen)

First of all, let’s hope the meeting goes ahead because I fear we are going to start struggling to run these horses if the weather continues as it is. This race has always been the plan and she’s been away to Windsor to gallop so should be pretty straight. She won her bumper on very soft ground so that shouldn’t be an issue, and this is a good place to kick off her season.
